What are the quarantine rules in Mumbai for passengers arriving at Mumbai Airport on Vande Bharat mission flights/repatriation flights?
As per the guidelines issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, all passengers are subject to mandatory quarantine for 14 days i.e. 7 days paid institutional quarantine at their own cost, followed by 7 days isolation at home with self-monitoring of health. Further, Air Suvidha Self Reporting Form needs to be mandatorily filled by all passengers arriving from abroad irrespective of their airport of arrival in India. Accordingly, all International arriving passengers should submit Air Suvidha Self Reporting Form on the Air Suvidha online portal (hosted on www.newdelhiairport.in), at least 72 hours before the scheduled travel. As per the requirement of the state, passengers are requested to carry the copy of the undertaking form (Download here) which needs to be presented upon arrival to MCGM officers. This print should be carried by the passengers along with Air Suvidha and exemption certificate.
All passenger arriving from UK, Middle East, South Africa or Europe have to undergo mandatory institutional quarantine. Passengers arriving from rest of the world on direct flights to Mumbai, have to do self reporting on airsuvidha portal and can continue with 14 days home quarantine basis a negative RT PCR test report conducted within 72 hours of boarding the flight.
